Are you new around here?

Or have you been bouncing around the Broadway Vocal Coach universe for a while?

There's quite a few new folks joining us on these wild Wednesday Newsletter rides these days so let's get acquainted, shall we?

Who are you?

You and I may not have officially met, but I have a feeling I know a few things about you:

• Sitting in a darkened theatre moments before the overture begins LIGHTS YOU UP!
• As a kid, Tony Awards night was the most thrilling night of the year. Broadway was in your house! On your TV!
• At times you've felt discouraged about your singing voice, or your ability to get cast in roles you're passionate about.
• And at other times, you've persevered through that feeling to go after what you really want: to share your voice and artistry, to tell stories and connect with others in a meaningful way.

And who am I, you ask??

Who am I, you ask? I'm a...

• Former theatre kid who did drama camps and speech competitions, and only found out about musical theatre because I was cast in my middle school production of ANNIE!
• Mom of two little girls, an almost three-year-old and a nine-month-old. Yes, I'm tired all the time.
• Nerdy voice teacher who gets really excited teaching others how to master their mix voice and singing technique. Lightbulb moments for my students are what light ME up!
• Oldest daughter and only girl and all the stereotypes and birth order research is 100% about me, ha!
• Former New Yorker and current Raleigh, North Carolina resident. Suburban life is my jam right now and I'm not ashamed to say it!
